W Downtown Hotel Opens

September 2010

The W Downtown Hotel & Residences, a new 57 story air-rights building in lower Manhattan, recently opened for business.

This mixed-use project includes 217 hotel rooms

, 223 condominium apartments, meeting and back-of-house support spaces for the hotel, a restaurant, and a public plaza. The tower overlooks the site of the World Trade Center Memorial. Portions of the curtain wall and plaza are being completed over the coming months.
