100 John Street, New York City
AKM Architects converted the upper portion of this existing office building into 221 residential rental units. Eight floors remained occupied during construction, and remain as office space. The existing 1931 Art Deco tower contained numerous setbacks, resulting in unique floor plans and nearly 100 private terraces. Upgrades included adding a parking garage, a health club, and recreational roof deck.
